Yesterday i had a discussion with my roomies and we were comparing year 1994 with year 2004.

Following things came out starkly in that :

In 1994 India had no mobile phones

In 1994 there was very limited access to Internet

In 1994 the consumers in India had only three choices in cars---Maruti, ambassador and fiat

Seriously the way things have changed in last one decade has astounded me.....

It has made me to give a serious thinking of future.....the way things will be in year 2014

or the way we want things to be in year 2014. Every decade the pace of change is increasing and

year 2014 may be so different from today.

And what should be my role in this change....When i was in my college, i simply wanted to be a part of the internet revolution and hence defines mine switching of career to software, but today i know that i want to be a driver in coming revolution. What could it be, Can i predict it? Probably i have to, and make that my dream and live with that dream

The art of prediction

Well i do make predictions......but how? I am not a astrologer..i don't know anything about numerology..i fumble even in zodiac signs....so how do i make predictions...do i listen to my heart or do i make predictions judiciously looking upto some trends and logically deducting what is going to happen... I guess i do both, i use my heart to pick up nuances which mind won't pick up and then use my mind to make some logical prediction.Even the greatest of astrologers fumble, but seriously i normally don't. Some predictions i just can't make.If someone asks me like will India win this cricket match, i am too biased to say anything.

This time before elections i predicted that Manmohan Singh will be the Prime minister of India, i did not know of all drama which ultimately happened before my prediction was proved to be true. To me the logic was clear, when congress will win majority seats, getting a total national consensus on Sonia's name would be difficult and Manmohan Singh is the automatic next choice, but yesterday when it was announced, i found people actually congratulating me :).

Now i have done one more prediction, of David Coulthard winning coming F1 race this sunday, i am not a F1 fan, but i am following up last few races as two of my room mates are. Again i dunno how, but i feel i am telling this on the basis of law of averages. Lets see if this blind guess of mine turns true or not or maybe i will know if it really is a blind guess!!

True lies

Thanks to :LL: i am finally blogging. I have been reading his blog for so long and telling him that yaar blogging must be a tough job and he always says, it's not tough when you blog for yourself.

So here i am, an anonymous guy, trying to grow up and be a man.Will i be a different personna in this virtual world as i can lie, i can make tales and tell stories about myself that never happened to please my ego. But will i do so? I think maybe not, as i want to blog so that somewhere i can be myself, without worrying about anyone's reactions. Someway i want to keep my honest self and true feelings alive about anything and everything :).
